Vicente García returns to Colombia with his latest album 'Candela'. The Candela Tour of Vicente García arrives in Colombia with two shows in which the three-time Latin Grammy winner will offer us the best of his career and the material of his most recent Candela album.
The Dominican will perform on September 7 at the Metropolitan Theater of Medellin and on September 14 at the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Theater in Bogotá. Vicente García has become one of the favorite Latin singers of Colombians with shows sold-out in Bogotá, Medellín, Bucaramanga, Barranquilla, Cali and other cities, including his presentation with the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra in the framework of 480 years from Bogota.
Vicente García is one of those exquisite sound enigmas of Latin music. He has experimented with bachata, R&B, reggae, merengue, among others, and the results have raised him as one of the most beloved artists by contemporary Latin American audiences. Candela has already presented his first three singles: "Loma de Cayenas" with Juan Luis Guerra, "Candela" and the innovative and sticky bachata-trap "Ahí Ahí".
The Candela album is an exploration from the investigation of the different Caribbean sounds towards the fusion with the R&B, electronic sounds, Zulu choirs, trap and others. “This is the way I always dreamed of making music,” says Vicente about his new album and about the explosive shows of the Candela Tour, which he already carried with resounding success along the East Coast of the United States and that will take in the coming months for Spain, England, Holland, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica and Argentina, with many more dates to be confirmed.
