Jaime Duque Park Tour

The Jaime Duque Park opened to the public on February 27 1983. Located in the town of Tocancipá, at kilometre 34 of the North Highway, it’s just 30 minutes away from the city of Bogota. Discovery Travel & Living Channel named it one of the top five parks in Latin America.

The park is the culmination of a dream of Jaime Duque’s, who wanted Colombians to have an important cultural and recreational center to generate resources to support society’s disadvantaged.

Leaving Bogotá from the north side, the Jaime Duque Park shows us a wide diversity of attractions that adults and kids alike can enjoy. The advantage of all these activities is that they are extremely healthy as well as fun, perfect for all the family and children of all ages

From the moment you leave Bogotá, you will enjoy a beautiful countryside landscape as your view until we return to the city with unforgettable memories.

We wanted something fun and safe for the kids, we didn’t want them to be exposed to any dangerous situations in the city. You read a lot of things online but really we never had any safety problems here. We managed to get a fairer price by combining tours including trips to lots of the fun parks around the area. The kids particularly liked Jaime Duque and Salitre Magico. We expected more animals at Finkana but still enjoyed our time there as well.
