Discover the talent of the best artists from Bogotá
With this art gallery tour, discover how Bogotá has inspired generations of artists who have engraved its streets and bohemian spirit in letters, paintings, and sculptures—in other words, into works of art. As a union between the legacy of 20th-century artists and the fresh and youthful spirit of new talents, the San Felipe neighborhood emerged, better known as the Bogotá Art District.

Reasons to experience the art gallery tour
The San Felipe neighborhood, with its quiet, residential atmosphere and mid-century facades, houses a total of 15 art institutes and galleries that make up the emerging new art scene in Bogotá. The scene opens up space for national and international artists and for proposals that reflect on the state of art in the country, and in general, in places that reflect on art and culture. Such was its success that in 2018 it caught the attention of the New York Times, which published a report on the neighborhood, solidifying its popularity.
On our tour, you can move through the neighborhood in the comfort of your private transportation at all times; likewise, an expert guide on the subject will curate a selection of the best art galleries to visit according to your interests. Among the curatorial lines of the Art District are urban, modern, VIP, installations, challenging art, or simply uncategorized works.
Our tour offers the possibility of talking with gallery directors, curators, or artists depending on the occasion. Likewise, depending on the time of year, you can participate in "La noche San Felipe," a day when the doors of all galleries and institutes open until midnight to welcome the Bogotá public, which has known how to receive, preserve, and promote new national talents.

I am a passionate tour guide in Bogotá with a solid background in history and a deep love for art. For the past 7 years, I have had the privilege of taking visitors on a fascinating journey through Colombian history and culture.
My passion for art is also reflected in my tours, where I can share knowledge about the most prominent works and the most relevant artistic movements in the region.
Whether you wish to explore the city's rich history, immerse yourself in its vibrant culture, marvel at its art, or enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds it, I am here to make your experience in Bogotá unforgettable.
Sebastián Huérfano
I am a historian from Bogotá, with a Master's degree in environmental history. I am passionate about the heritage, local history and nature of the Bogotá and Zipaquirá region. I like cycling, mountain views and a good coffee with a good conversation.
Welcome to Colombia, the country of magical realism and natural and social biodiversity. My goal is for all visitors to feel a unique experience within the rich Colombian culture and history.
Sebastián Giraldo
Colombia has given me everything I am and what I have, from my way of thinking to how I eat. Bogotá has built my identity and has shown me that just by getting on a bus I can see the contrasts of a nation that we continue to build day by day.
From my work and my profession, I not only want to show the beautiful face of the country where I was born, but also its history, resilience, strength, the warmth and flavor of its people, and that those who visit us can say with conviction "I love Colombia!".
I am Sebastián Giraldo, an innate traveler. I love music, fruits, languages and learning about my culture and that of the world. I am willing to leave a pleasant Colombian mark on your experience in our country.
Santiago Rico
My curiosity to know the history, to travel the territory and to recognize the beauty that is perceived in Colombia led me to become a professional historian and a passionate traveler. I am a talkative, friendly and respectful person who not only likes to teach what I have learned, but also to learn in the process of our travels.
As a famous Arab proverb says "He who lives sees much, he who travels sees more" so, I wish that from my narratives and interpretations you can see and recognize a little more of this beautiful country and also, of course, learn from our incredibly warm and kind culture!
Unforgettable tours and experiences from our clients
See what our clients have to say about their incredible tours through Bogotá and various destinations across Colombia.
We booked a private tour with Hansa Tours during an unplanned short-notice stop-over in Bogota. After researching the reviews on Tripadvisor, also the concierge of the Hyatt Hotel encouraged us that Hansa Tours is the company to pick. We had limited time and bombarded our guide Juan Fernando with lots of requests and things to do and see. He was incredibly quick in capturing our interest, style, and pace and pieced together and adjusted on the fly as needed the best city tour ever! Never before have I experienced a guide that had such a deep knowledge from art, culture, architecture, technology, history, politics like Fernando. He was super-sharp with the right antennas on when to contribute his knowledge and when to keep quiet, unlike many guides that bombard you with their talk-track like a radio station. He structured around the time we had a visit to the gold museum while setting his own path through the museum different in order to the layout, however with a brilliant way to highlight the things that mattered. We stopped by the Bogota Biennale (he was very knowledgeable about each exhibit and it’s background), checked out some street art, and went to the Botero Museum. He was passionate about what he showed, authentic with his own opinion, but very patient at the same time. Juan Fernando is really an exceptional guide, and you can be lucky to have him show you his town!
GermanWorldTravelerWe booked three different days and three different tours with Fernando. He was a Wonderful guide. Great insights and conversation about both art and history (and food and culture … basically everything). If you are visiting Bogota, this is a must book.
