Reasons to experience the coffee tour in Salento
The adventure begins just like all our tours do, with one of our bilingual guides taking charge of picking you up at the door of your lodging to then venture into the enigmatic Valle del Cocora. An exuberant setting at more than 1,800 meters above sea level, where nature shines with thousands of shades of green and the soul is awed by the imposing height of the Wax Palms, considered the tallest on the planet.
This experience could never be complete without us taking you to visit an authentic coffee farm. There you will be able to share with the locals, who will reveal the secrets behind the most famous coffee in the world. There will also be time to tour the farm and appreciate all the stages needed to create, from a seed, a cup of coffee.
After having recharged your energy, we will take you to discover the magic of Salento. A small town that has a unique architectural charm with cozily narrow streets and brightly colored houses that reflect the personality of those who inhabit them. A super photogenic place where you can capture moments full of life and color.
As you can see, this coffee tour has it all. It is such an amazing experience that the best screenwriters took it as inspiration to create "Encanto," the movie that captivated the entire world.

Unforgettable tours and experiences from our clients
See what our clients have to say about their incredible tours through Bogotá and various destinations across Colombia.
A very complete tour if you want landscapes and coffee culture together. Cocora was stunning, and the coffee experience near Salento was relaxed and interesting. Private transport was a big plus because the distances can feel long.
Oliver S. AustraliaThe coffee farm visit was our favorite part. It felt authentic and not overly commercial. We learned about the whole process and tasted coffee right there at the farm. The day also included beautiful scenery and a nice lunch.
Megan T. United StatesThis was a great way to experience the coffee region in one day. We saw Cocora Valley, visited a coffee farm, tasted fresh coffee, and walked around Salento. The guide was patient and explained everything clearly in English.
