- The remaining balance can be paid to the local guide in cash (COP or USD) or by credit card before starting the tour.
- You must present a copy of your passport to be exempt from the VAT tax.
- The tour can be canceled at least 48 hours before the group's pick-up time. If not notified in advance, 30% of the total value of the service will be charged.

The private tour to Guatavita Lake was very relaxing. I went with the guide Diego Paris, who speaks Portuguese. He was a very attentive guy who explained a lot about Colombia and Bogotá along the way. He gave me plenty of freedom to make any stops I wanted, without rushing me because of time constraints. He offered to stop for a meal on the way back in the town of Guatavita, but we couldn’t stop due to time constraints. The tour is private, meaning there’s no one else along, which provides a sense of freedom and tranquility.
