Luxury Coffee Plantation Tour

Only an hour from Bogotá the traditional town of Zipacón is close to the most exclusive and famous coffee plantation in Cundinamarca. Here they grow various exotic types of specialty coffee from all over the world and recently exported their coffee beans for a record price!

Connect with nature as you take a guided tour around the beautiful plantation, see the locals involved in the processing and learn everything there is to know about coffee cultivation and processing, from seed to cup! You will leave enlightened and much more knowledgeable about different coffees and how to distinguish their flavours. Each part of the processing can have a distinct effect on the end product, its taste and aroma.

Enjoy the stunning views of rolling hills from the restaurant before your three course meal using predominantly food organically grown onsite! Lastly, meet one of the international Baristas flown into the plantation for a few months to showcase their style of coffee preparation and brewing.

Really beautiful place. Both tour guides were super knowledgeable, on the way to the plantation I learnt a lot about Bogotá and all of it’s history then once we arrived the other tour guide gave us an extensive tours explaining everything about the coffee process. They grow a real quality product here, was great to get to taste some different coffees, really distinctive tastes. Pretty cool that they have international baristas as well. Like the restaurant food and the view from the restaurant is pretty special as well. All in all an enjoyable day and not too far from the city. Recommend.

I used this company for two different tours – Paloquemao Food Market Tour and The Luxury Coffee Plantation Tour. Both tours were excellent. My guide David was excellent – hospitable, friendly, and taught me a lot about the history of the country. Will definitely use Hansa Tours again!
